Support
Our Work
We would like to thank all those who have already done so much to support our work over the years in so many different ways... Thank you!
With your help, over the last four years, we have found new families for 60 children and raised over £2 million for our work.
However, we still urgently need more people to become adoptive
parents, and funds to continue our campaign.
Click here to see a copy of our leaflet "Making Adoption a Reality" which explains the options available to you, and their benfits to both you and us
Will you help?
Costs are always an issue for any small charity. They increase every year, and we rely heavily on the generosity of the communities in which we operate for the funds to continue our work.
Could you help us do more?

Give through your Company’s Payroll Giving Scheme - Simple, tax-free charitable giving direct from your pay. For more information visit www.hmrc.gov.uk or www.payrollgiving.co.uk
Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 78p, and if you’re a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p
If your company does not yet run the Scheme, get them to set one up - it’s quick and easy! |
 |
Share Giving - There are many reasons why giving shares might appeal to you. You might hold windfall shares as a result of a privatisation or demutualisation that are effectively gathering dust, making little difference to you, but they could make a big difference to the Society. Or, you may own small parcels of shares, perhaps as a result of an inheritance that you regard as a bit of a nuisance as they generate more paperwork than income. These could be turned into something of real value to others by donating these shares to the Society. For more information visit www.hmrc.gov.uk |
 |
If you use Ebay - supporting Families Are Best while selling on www.eBay.co.uk is easy. Not only can you make a difference by donating between 10% and 100% of your item's final selling price but you also benefit from your listing really standing out. |
